The Uppingham Cellar is Rutlands First Vinothek. What is a Vinothek I hear you ask?
Vinothek noun (plural: Vinotheka) is derived from the Greek word Οινοθήκη, which literally means "wine repository" (from Oeno/Eno- Οινός "wine") and is used to describe a special type of wine shop where you can taste and enjoy wines before you buy. We do tastings every Saturday Afternoon with nibbles from 2.30
